Painting Like the Masters Grades: Primary - 2ndSept. 12th, 19th Time: 3:30pm - 5:00pm Cost: $90.00 |
Painting Like the Masters Grades: 3rd - 6th |
|
In this first lesson on painting, students will be introduced to the techniques from the master painters from history. Students will learn basic painting skills, as well as how to properly make and use painting materials. Our project for painting will be an appropriation of a master painting. |

Book Arts Grades: 3rd - 6thSept. 28th Time: 3:30pm - 6:00pm Cost: $35.00 |

Students will explore the question of what makes a book a "book". Starting with nontraditional sculptural books, students will learn how to make a variety of Maze Books. |

Drawing & Shading Grades: Primary - 2nd |
Drawing & Shading Grades: 3rd - 6th |

This drawing lesson will introduce students to the principle elements of drawing from observation. Students will learn about drawing techniques such as blending, shading, texture, light, perspective, and other tools to help depict realism in still-life art. |

Form-Based Art Grades: 3rd - 6th |
|
Working with molding and sculpting materials, students will experiment with three dimensional art. This lesson on form-based art will allow students the opportunity to develop creative solution when dealing with form and sculpture. |

In addition to learning how to paint a self-portrait, this will be our class project for the student art show. This is the first of two self-portrait sessions available this semester. I would like to encourage as many students as possible to be involved with this project. |

Students will learn about popular street art culture and accomplished street artists. This lesson will provide students with spray painting and stencil techniques used in street art. |
