In our Student Corner this week, we have one poem, by Kaleigh, from our Geneva Wilderness Field Trip entitled Imagination. I know you'll agree that she was beautifully inspired to write this one.
Three of the poems are based on a personification lesson in class. Each student was asked to "become" something non-living. These first three, by Andrew, Gabriella, and Joshua, will surely make you think. I'm looking forward to publishing many more in the weeks to come.
Our final poem is a special treat for me because it was submitted by one of my former students, Andy Titus. Andy's poetry was submitted quite frequently while he was a student here at MSEO and I am thrilled that he has not stopped writing simply because he now lives in California. I hope you enjoy his fantastically fun and freaky rendition of a fabulous alliteration poem!!!
