Performing Arts
At The Montessori School of East Orlando, we take great pride in our vibrant Performing Arts program. Through our dedicated Drama Club and integrated arts curriculum, students have the opportunity to dive deeply into the world of theater, music, and ballroom dance. Our productions are student-driven, creatively rich, and often completely original—from the scripts to the songs. The Legend of Baracole
“Baracole” is set in a mysterious world where three children—Becca, Isaac, and Laramie—live in hiding beneath an old house, following strict routines to stay safe. As their world begins to shift and long-held beliefs are questioned, they must decide whether to cling to the safety they know or face the truth beyond their shelter.
The play explores themes of courage, memory, and hope in uncertain times.

A Forest Tale
“A Forest Tale” is a playful fairy tale mashup where Rapunzel is kidnapped by a lonely witch, prompting a group of classic characters—including Red Riding Hood, Jack, Cinderella, and even a reformed Big Bad Wolf—to band together and rescue her.
With humor, music, and heart, the story celebrates teamwork, hope, and the power of chosen family.

The Kalnekai Chronicles
“The Kalnekai Chronicles” Steps into a mystical seaside village in a distant world, where the people of Kalnekai gather to celebrate their vibrant New Year under the reign of a beloved 102-year-old Emperor. But centuries ago, the land suffered under a cruel ruler whose greed left the village in despair. As the Elemental Lords watch the world around them begin to fade, they give humanity one final chance: a humble fisherman must prove that selflessness still exists. With the fate of Kalnekai—and perhaps the world—hanging in the balance, his choice will determine if hope can be restored.
